Electric Summer Sessions

Date Added: 2009-09-11

Mark Wooley, owner and creative director of the electric salon group, recently held a celebration and presentation day in Brighton called Summer Sessions

With team members from both the Brighton and Reading salons the day included a presentation from the electric Art Team, an official talk on the neq Shu Uemura hair care range launching into salons and their 9th annual 'Jump in the Sea' charity event.

Held at the Hanbury Club, the day also featured the new collection that incorporated strong editorial collections focusing on the forthcoming  A/W trend. To complete the day, the team had all been set the challenge to collect money for a chosen charity, the children's health facility Rockinghorse charity, and to jump in the sea with an inflatable. WIth around 55 wired and wonderful inflatables on Brighton Beach, it certainly attracted the attention of the locals!

"I think it's really important to get all the team together for regular events - whether it's educational or fun as it keeps us all focused and motivated. Electric is about team effort and growing together. The summer party is always a highlight of the year and gets us all excited about the forthcoming year ahead - we've lots happening especially with the London salon opening soon. Its also great to give back to our local community by supporting Rockinghorse and this particular charity really hits home with me as a father with young children. Its been another successful electric event," concluded Mark.
