The Scarlet Moon pop-up salon
The underground scene is alive and kicking right now – think 90’s raves held in fields in the middle of the home counties – but this time it’s ultra cool and über secret. Last year saw the rise of the pop-up shop being rolled out across the UK in various different formats and locations. And now, in 2010, Salon Business Online is following the hottest concept on the block right now – the pop-up salon. Whilst Charlie Le Mindu was developing the concept in Berlin several years ago, there are now all sorts of weird and wonderful hybrids of the same scene-setting idea.
Some hairdressers are doing it as a media savvy exercise, to create awareness and promote themselves, while others are turning it into a viable business. Read all about the hottest concept in hairdressing, click here.
