Charlie Le Mindu opens On/Off at LFW

Date Added: 2010-02-22

Charlie Le Mindu opened On|Off last Friday with a haute-coiffure spectacular combining dramatic hair with gothic inspired-looks.

Charlie, who has been styling hair since the age of 13, worked real human hair into the couture creations. The show was inspired by cults, religious sects and the occult and the hair featured veils made from hair, diamante crucifixes and even a trinket box placed on top of the head.

The looks used complex multi-dyed lengths to create an almost fur-like effect, with Charlie showing off his unique way of dying and treating hair. All the colour techniques were applied using Fudge Paintbox and Headpaint.

Musician La Roux was snapped on the front row, along with an eclectic looking crowd who added to the show's avant garde feel.

The models were covered in black body paint and dressed in black lace, further highlighting the gothic nature of the show. To see the On/Off video click here, but keep checking Salon Business Online as we'll be posting image galleries in the next few days!
