Clubstar launch competition

Date Added: 2009-08-14

After the success of the first Fellowship ClubStar event last week at the hob Academy, the team are now calling for entries for a new ClubStar competition taking place in September.

Entrants will be given the opportunity to show off their work on the Fellowship Stage at Salon International. This will not only be a fantastic opportunity to present a pre-prepped model to a panel of  industry judges, but also to gain competition experience within a 'real hair' environment.

First prize will be the opportunity to work on a session with Gok Wan, Jamie Stevens (Men's British Hairdresser of the Year), and Creative Director Errol Douglas. Second prize will be a hairdressing course, and third prize will be a selection of premium hairdressing equipment.

The exciting youth membership scheme, Clubstar,  gives young hairdressers the chance to access all the benefits of the standard Fellowship, plus exclusive extra discounts. Members must be between 17 and 22 years of age, and must be either studying for or have completed, NVQ/SVQ Level 2 and/or 3. With an annual membership of £49, the youth scheme offers an affordable way to gain access to a whole host of offers, competitions and events.

Members can register their interest by completing an entry form to be received by Friday 31st August 2009. Applicants must bring their own model, and entries can be in the form of cut, colour, or hair up. There is 45 minutes of allocated prep and styling time prior to the presentation stage, and entrants are advised to bring a mood board to present to share their inspirations.

Competition applicants will be shortlisted on the day, and the successful members will present on the Fellowship Stage on Monday 19th October. The winner will be announced later that day.

For an entry form and a full list of terms, conditions and details please contact Emma on 01295 724580.
