Published:The new portal has been developed specifically for qualified salon professionals using MOOD products and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. According to MOOD, the tool is designed to provide brand-specific consultation, technical guidance and aftercare recommendations.
It uses official MOOD Hair Colour documentation to provide guidance on the professional use of salon colour products, including those containing hydrogen peroxide and other chemical agents.
The AI assistant can answer routine technical questions, such as when a client requires a patch test, as well as more advanced colour queries covering bleach, permanent and demi-permanent colour services, developers and activators.
For formulation advice, stylists are asked a series of questions about their client’s hair before MOOD Angel generates a tailored MOOD formula. This includes the suggested mixing ratio, processing time and appropriate developer strength.
The portal also allows users to explore the MOOD shade range and colour charts, while a personalised MOOD prescription can be created to support the client consultation process.
MOOD Angel is not limited to colour services, with the platform also offering product recommendations for cuts, blow-dries and treatments, helping stylists select suitable MOOD haircare products for individual clients.

The virtual technician also provides educational guidance covering areas including colour techniques, toning, grey coverage, cutting foundations and the professional use of the wider MOOD product range.
