The Fellowship for British Hairdressing has announced the launch of its first official Presenting Team, with four industry professionals set to host events, interview artists and create digital content across the organisation’s education programme.

Newly Appointed Team

It comprises of Debbie Gee, Andrew Barton, James Parr and Steph Gallagher, who will become familiar faces throughout the Fellowship calendar, hosting major events including HairCon, Creative XChange, the F.A.M.E. Team Semi-Finals and Finals, Projects Finale and the Fellowship’s 80th Anniversary Luncheon & Awards.

Elevating Things

The initiative has been created to elevate the experience across Fellowship events, with the presenters bringing professional hosting, audience engagement and artist interviews to both live and digital platforms.

Debbie Gee

Among the team is educator Debbie Gee, whose career spans more than two decades at the Sassoon London Academies before becoming an independent educator, alongside Fellowship Ambassador for England Andrew Barton, whose four decades in the industry have established him as one of British hairdressing’s best-known educators and presenters.

Next Generation

Representing the next generation of Fellowship talent are James Parr and Steph Gallagher. The pair first hosted the Fellowship Stage at HairCon following their time together on the 2023 F.A.M.E. Team, where they developed a natural on-stage partnership under the mentorship of Fellowship Artistic Director Sally Brooks.

“Each of these individuals has earned their place through passion, professionalism and an unwavering commitment to supporting the Fellowship.

“Together they bring different personalities, experiences and perspectives that will help us deliver engaging educational experiences while showcasing the incredible talent within our industry.
