The Fellowship for British Hairdressing Opens Applications for 2027 Project Teams

Offering emerging hairdressing talent the opportunity to develop their skills.

The Fellowship for British Hairdressing has opened applications for its 2027 Project Teams, giving hairdressers and barbers across the UK the chance to take part in a year of education, mentoring and creative development.

With a history spanning more than 80 years, The Fellowship brings together professionals from across the hairdressing industry, including salons, barbers, stylists, educators, academies and global brands. Its Project Teams are designed to nurture up-and-coming talent through hands-on education and industry experience.

What’s Involved

Throughout the year, Project Team members have access to workshops, seminars, professional photoshoots and education days hosted by leading industry figures. Participants can also gain stage experience and collaborate with their Project Leader and fellow mentees on creative photoshoots.

Applications Now Open

Applications opened on the 31st August 2026 and will close on the 9th November 2026, with the successful teams due to be announced on 23rd November 2026. Applications can be submitted via The Fellowship’s online application portal.
