ALFAPARF Milano Professional Launches New Pigments Direct Colour System

Designed to give hairdressers greater flexibility when creating and customising colour.

The new system combines Ultra-concentrated Pure Pigments, Pigments Direct Color Creams and Color Lab, offering options ranging from delicate, natural shades through to more vibrant statement colours. The system is powered by the brand’s patented Color Pixel Technology, which combines meadowfoam oil and dimethylglucamine to support colour performance while leaving hair feeling soft and conditioned.

Updated Range

It includes 13 Ultra-concentrated Pure Pigments, including the new .8 Pearl shade, alongside six Pigments Direct Color Creams and the new Color Lab cream base. The pigments are designed to offer precise colour customisation, with applications including creating new tones, refreshing colour between services, re-pigmenting during colour correction and correcting unwanted tones.

Pearlescent Effects

The new .8 Pearl shade is designed for creating cooler tones and adding pearlescent effects to natural or cosmetically treated grey and white hair. The Ultra-concentrated Pure Pigments can be mixed with LIGHTS CO or a Semi di Lino Masks treatment when fibre care is the priority, or with Color Lab when the focus is on creating a more personalised colour result.

Fighting Colour Fade

According to ALFAPARF Milano Professional, the system is vegan and delivers up to 79 per cent increased colour retention after 12 washes, alongside claims of five times more shine and improved tonal fidelity during colour fade.

New Direct Colour Creams

The range also introduces Pigments Direct Color Cream, formulated for intense colour results on bleached and very light hair, as well as adding tone to natural and coloured hair.

The creams can be mixed with Color Lab to create pastel results or reduce colour intensity. The brand reports improved tonal fidelity over time, up to 77 per cent increased combability and four times more shine.

Colour Lab Offers Further Customisation

The new Color Lab cream base is designed to give hairdressers greater control over the intensity and direction of direct colour. It can be combined with the Ultra-concentrated Pure Pigments to refresh or customise natural and cosmetic colour, or with Pigments Direct Color Cream to create pastel shades and dilute intensity.

The product also features Color Pixel Technology, with the brand reporting up to 89 per cent improved combability and up to 58 per cent reduced breakage in testing.

The accompanying campaign was created with Rudy Mostarda, global creative director of ALFAPARF Milano Professional, and showcases two looks: Indigo Soul, featuring a deep base with blue reflections and electric blue through the lengths, and Velvet Rose, combining a vintage rose shade with cool, silky reflections.
