Published:The Rush Artistic Team partnered with Kingston University as the official hair team for this year’s Graduate Fashion Show, sponsored by L’Oréal Professionnel.
Rush Editorial Director Tina Farey and Artistic Team member Seung Ki-Baek worked backstage to create the hair looks for students’ final collections, drawing inspiration from the 1990s grunge club scene.

Using L’Oréal Professionnel styling products, the team created textured, lived-in finishes designed to complement the designers’ collections, with an emphasis on movement, volume and an intentionally undone aesthetic.
Tina Farey, Editorial Director at Rush Hair, said: “It was a fantastic experience collaborating with the Kingston University fashion students and helping bring their creative vision to life. We layered L’Oréal Professionnel styling products to create tousled, lived-in looks inspired by the energy of the 90s club scene. Congratulations to all of the graduates on an incredible show. Rush Hair has worked extensively across editorial, session styling and education, with its Artistic Team recognised as members of the British Hairdressing Awards Hall of Fame after winning the title three times.
Earlier this year, the salon group also renewed its partnership with L’Oréal Professionnel, continuing its long-standing relationship with the professional hair brand.
