TONI&GUY Global Creative Director Cos Sakkas explains how.
Published:For Paul Costelloe’s AW26 show, the TONI&GUY Session Team, led by Global Creative Director Cos Sakkas, created a sleek, architectural hair look to complement William Costelloe’s tailoring-led debut.
It was smoothed to a high-shine finish before being drawn into a low, sculpted chignon at the nape of the neck. The controlled silhouette echoed the collection’s polished, structured aesthetic, creating a look that was both precise and understated.
Create a deep side part and comb the hair into a sleek ponytail at the nape, leaving a section at the front on the heavier side of the part. Use LABEL.M Fashion Edition Hairspray to smooth fly-aways and create a polished, glossy base.
Twist the ponytail tightly before wrapping it around itself to create a compact chignon. Pin securely and strategically to form a smooth, rounded shape.
Apply additional LABEL.M Fashion Edition Hairspray to the remaining front section and backcomb at the root to create the necessary structure.
Use the LABEL.M Titanium Pro Curling Tong on the front section, sweeping the hair into a soft, sculpted wave above the ear. Pin the wave into place before incorporating it into the bun.
Complete the look with a generous mist of LABEL.M Fashion Edition Hairspray to secure the style and maintain its sleek, runway-ready finish.
