Published:Spectrum One Hair Extensions has continued its commitment to stylist education with its latest masterclass, led by renowned educators and Spectrum One Ambassador Elliot Caffrey and Debbie McGlade of S.H Hair.
Designed to help stylists refine their technical skills while enhancing the overall client experience, the session explored the techniques behind creating seamless, luxury hair extension transformations using Spectrum One’s premium extension collections.

Elliot demonstrated his signature Flat Track method, taking attendees through placement, layering and styling techniques designed to create natural movement and an undetectable blend.
Working on model Julie, Elliot used Spectrum One’s Frost and Creamed Ash shades, combining strategic placement, soft layering and natural texture to create his signature bouncy, flicked finish using straighteners.
A second live demonstration on model Darcy showcased the art of combining multiple shades to create bespoke colour results. Elliot worked with Dark Secret, Hazelnut Swirl and Midnight Brown, demonstrating how thoughtful colour blending can create a seamless finish.
The masterclass also looked beyond technical hairdressing, with Elliot sharing advice on creating a successful social media presence. Attendees were given practical tips on photography, including finding flattering angles and capturing high-quality imagery to showcase their work and attract new clients.

Debbie’s session focused on the fundamentals behind creating polished, seamless results across both natural hair and extensions.
Demonstrating her approach to blending shape and layers into extensions, Debbie emphasised the importance of precision cutting that enhances the overall style while remaining undetectable.
Working on model Jude, Debbie used Spectrum One Genius Weft extensions in Ash Bronde, Bleach Blonde, Hazel and Vanilla. The result required minimal cutting to refine the final shape, highlighting the importance of selecting complementary shades from the outset to make seamless blending easier.
A second demonstration featured model Courtney wearing 20-inch Spectrum One Genius Wefts in Champagne and Cookies & Cream. Debbie created a soft, dimensional blonde finish that blended with the model’s natural hair, showcasing the versatility of the extension range.

The education continued with Debbie’s signature blow-drying techniques, with stylists learning how she layers her preferred Original & Mineral products to build volume, enhance shine and maximise longevity while maintaining movement.
Using Hair Made Easi 32mm brushes, Debbie demonstrated how precise sectioning, tension and brush positioning contribute to polished, bouncy blow-dries with a luxury salon finish.
Throughout the masterclass, both educators highlighted that delivering a premium extension service involves much more than installation. Colour selection, precision cutting, styling, finishing and content creation all contribute to the final client experience, while also giving stylists the tools to develop and grow their businesses.
