Published:UNITE Hair, in collaboration with Salon Services, has launched Runway Ready, a new education programme designed to prepare hairstylists for backstage work at London Fashion Week.
Created by UNITE Global Creative Director Gary Baker, the two-day course is aimed at stylists of all experience levels, from newly qualified professionals to experienced salon and freelance hairdressers looking to develop their session styling skills.
Led by UNITE UK Creative Director and session stylist Narad Kutowaroo, the programme focuses on the technical and practical demands of backstage styling, including working under pressure, collaborating as part of a creative team and styling a variety of hair types and textures.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will secure a place on the UNITE Hair styling team, in collaboration with Salon Services, at London Fashion Week.

The course also includes collaborative styling sessions designed to replicate the pace and workflow of Fashion Week, alongside a professional styling kit worth more than £500, containing styling tools and accessories.
