Living beside King Charles’ Dumfries Estate, with my salon Urban Hair & Beauty, I wanted to celebrate the culture on my doorstep in a fresh and rebellious way”.
“I collaborated with the King’s traditional kiltmaker, who provided me with authentic tartans, grounding the collection in history and craft. For me, this project is deeply personal — I’m proud of my roots, coming from a deprived area, and I wanted to showcase how heritage and creativity can shine through”.
