Set to lead its new global Hair Care Hub for the UK and Ireland, Europe, the Middle East, Turkey and India.
Published:Based in London, the new Hair Care Hub will serve as a regional centre of excellence for ELC’s Hair Care portfolio, bringing together dedicated leadership, commercial expertise and market knowledge to support growth across the region.
Mitchell will report directly to Shane Wolf, Global Brand President, Aveda and Hair Care Brands, and will join both the Global Hair Care Leadership Team and the UK&I Executive Leadership Team.
In her new role, Mitchell will oversee a central team based at the London hub and work with global leadership to strengthen ELC’s haircare portfolio and accelerate growth. Her remit will include developing leadership and capabilities, as well as ensuring the portfolio is effectively localised for different markets.

Mitchell joins ELC with more than 25 years of leadership experience across beauty, retail and consumer brands in the UK, Europe and the US.
She brings more than 14 years of experience in professional beauty, having held leadership positions spanning brand and commercial strategy across multiple markets. Her experience includes launching and scaling brands in new territories, developing customer engagement strategies and using digital and B2B capabilities to identify new growth opportunities.
Most recently, Mitchell was Commercial Director at John Lewis, where she was responsible for category strategy across Fashion, Beauty, Home and Technology.
Prior to this, she held senior leadership roles at Stella & Dot, gaining direct-to-consumer and international market development experience. She helped scale the business across European markets before taking on global responsibilities.

Wolf added that Mitchell’s experience across professional beauty, retail and omnichannel environments would position her well to lead the new hub from London and support growth across ELC’s haircare portfolio.
