The future of creative hairdressing was on full display as the Sassoon Future Creatives Team took to the stage for an inspiring evening at the House of Sassoon in London’s Soho, raising funds and awareness for the Hair & Beauty Charity.

More than 80 hairdressers attended the exclusive event, hosted by Senior International Creative Director Mark Hayes, where the next generation of Sassoon talent unveiled its interpretation of the brand’s Spring/Summer INTERFERENCE collection.

Helping Professionals

Funds raised during the evening will go directly to the Hair & Beauty Charity, helping professionals facing hardship through illness, domestic abuse, family tragedy or an inability to work.

Across the showcase, more than 12 models demonstrated cutting-edge techniques in cutting, colour and styling, giving attendees plenty of practical ideas to take back to the salon. The collection celebrated precision cutting, natural texture and colour designed to enhance shape and movement.

The looks balanced high-fashion creativity with commercial appeal, featuring striking colour panelling, rich copper tones, graphic fringes inspired by the 1920’s and references to iconic album artwork.

Hosted by Danielle Harvey and Lee Nunn, the evening also explored how editorial techniques can be adapted for everyday salon clients.

Sam Holder said: “When working with colour we want to keep it salon friendly and stay creative without it being too dramatic for clients who are looking to have something a little bit different.”

Nurturing Talent

The Sassoon Future Creatives programme is designed to nurture emerging talent across the Sassoon network, equipping stylists with the technical expertise, creative confidence and commercial skills needed to build long-term careers.

Danielle Harvey said: “Everyone is good at something, and we want to bring the best out of the individual and utilise their strengths. We want everyone to be really good all-rounders in all hair lengths and hair types.

“Special thanks to Wella for their continued partnership and ongoing support. Collaborations such as these help us create opportunities that inspire, educate and elevate our industry.”
