The winner is set to receive a year of education and professional development opportunities.
Published:The Fellowship for British Hairdressing has revealed the finalists for the Wahl Scholarship 2027, with the successful candidate set to benefit from selected Wahl Academy courses throughout the year, alongside a Wahl product kit.
The finalists will now progress to the audition stage, which will take place on 7 October. The winner will then have the opportunity to attend a selection of courses at the Wahl HQ Academy throughout the year, as well as receive a Wahl product kit. Travel and accommodation, where required, will also be covered, subject to agreement.
The scholarship is designed to support the winner’s professional development, with The Fellowship describing it as an opportunity that could help accelerate their career by five to 10 years.
The announcement also highlights Wahl’s long-standing position within the professional industry. Founded from a single patent and small manufacturing plant, Wahl now operates eight factories across four continents and 22 sales offices, serving more than 165 countries. The company remains family-owned and managed, with its headquarters in Sterling.
The Fellowship has congratulated all 12 finalists as they prepare for the next stage of the 2027 scholarship.
