Balancing natural texture with sleek, precise styling in partnership with Schwarzkopf.
Published:Hair at Victoria Beckham’s SS27 show was all about individuality, natural movement and effortless styling, with session stylist Anthony Turner creating a collection of looks designed to complement each model’s character.
Working with Schwarzkopf, Turner took an intentionally relaxed approach to the hair, avoiding a single uniform style in favour of looks that felt personal and instinctive.
The hair varied across the models, with some wearing their hair loose and embracing natural texture and movement. Others featured more structured finishes, including sleek, tight ponytails and knots, while some models had their hair casually tucked into their collars.
Shorter cuts were styled with off-centre partings and a slightly undone finish, helping to maintain the collection’s effortless feel.
The result was a series of looks that were distinct but cohesive, combining precision with a sense of natural ease rather than appearing overly styled or polished.

Victoria Beckham said the intention was to make the hair feel “personal and individual to each model”, describing the finished looks as easy, instinctive and full of character.
Turner echoed this approach, explaining that the team wanted each model’s personality to influence the styling.
“The hair was instinctive and effortless, embracing natural texture while also creating something more precise.”
He added that the looks were designed to have a sense of ease, without feeling overly styled or worked.

Schwarzkopf OSiS+ Flatliner was the key product backstage, used to refine and control the hair while maintaining its relaxed quality.
Prep: Schwarzkopf Fibre Clinix Fibre Sealer was applied through the mid-lengths and ends of damp hair to smooth and nourish. OSiS+ Air Whip was then used to improve manageability during blow-drying, protect against heat and provide hold without leaving the hair feeling stiff.
During: Whilst blow-drying OSiS+ Flatliner helped refine texture and introduce control where required, while keeping the overall finish relaxed.
Finishing Touches: OSiS+ Dust It was worked lightly through the hair to create texture and a lived-in quality. For the more structured looks, OSiS+ Thrill provided additional definition and control, before the styles were secured with OSiS+ Session hairspray.
The SS27 collection demonstrates how contrasting approaches to styling can work together: natural texture alongside sleek control, and precision balanced with imperfection. Rather than imposing one definitive fashion look, Turner’s approach puts the individual wearer at the centre of the style.
