The Fellowship for British Hairdressing is giving one member the opportunity to experience the creative process behind a professional editorial photo-shoot as part of its new Behind the Lens competition.

When

Taking place on 27 July at Jet Studios in London, the one-day experience will offer the successful applicant exclusive behind-the-scenes access to an editorial shoot led by F.A.M.E. Team Leader Christel Barron-Hough alongside SKP Global and Creative Ambassador Nick Irwin.

Build Industry Connections

Designed for hairdressers looking to develop their editorial careers, the experience will provide insight into every stage of a professional campaign shoot, from styling and creative direction to lighting, photography and production. Attendees will also have the opportunity to build industry connections while gaining practical knowledge that can help strengthen their portfolio.

Nurturing Talent

The event draws on the Fellowship’s long-standing commitment to nurturing emerging talent through its education projects. Its F.A.M.E. Team (Fellowship Academy of Merit and Excellence) is recognised as one of the industry’s leading development programmes, giving up-and-coming hairdressers access to mentoring, education and opportunities to work alongside some of the profession’s most respected creatives. Throughout the year, team members take part in photo-shoots, fashion shows, presentation training and creative education designed to accelerate their careers.
