Making advanced training more accessible for local hair professionals.
Published:Award-winning Lincolnshire salon re:new Hair and Beauty by Expressions has launched a new education programme designed to bring leading industry educators to the county, making advanced training more accessible for local hair professionals.
The initiative began on 29 June with an afternoon masterclass from cutting specialist and educator Davide Spinelli, attended by hairdressers from salons across Lincolnshire, including teams from Lincoln and Skegness.
Hosted at the salon’s Woodhall Spa premises, the session featured three live haircut demonstrations alongside precision cutting techniques and educational insights from Spinelli, founder of DS Hair Education. Spinelli has previously been shortlisted for Educator of the Year at both the Fellowship for British Hairdressing and Creative HEAD Most Wanted Awards.
According to the salon, every attendee booked onto the next event in the series before leaving!
Julie Charles, co-owner of re:new Hair and Beauty by Expressions, said: “For years we’ve travelled across the country to access high-quality education, and we know the time and cost involved can be challenging for independent salons.
“We wanted to bring that level of education to Woodhall Spa, not just for our own team but for neighbouring salons too. It’s been fantastic to see local hairdressers come together to learn, share ideas and support one another.”
Founded more than 21 years ago, re:new Hair and Beauty by Expressions was recently named Best Regional Salon Midlands at The Hair Awards 2026 and has built its reputation around continuous professional development alongside client care.
The next Rendezvous re:new education event is planned for 28th September and will feature North Eastern Hairdresser of the Year Emma Simmons, with a focus on curly hair techniques.
