Published:Edinburgh salon group Medusa has recognised the achievements of its team at its annual Team Awards, bringing together more than 80 employees from across its six salons for an evening celebrating talent, creativity and business success.
Hosted by Managing Director Colin McAndrew, the awards have become a highlight of the Medusa calendar, recognising individuals and teams who have excelled over the past year while reinforcing the group’s commitment to developing talent and delivering exceptional client experiences.
Reflecting on Medusa’s growth from a single salon to one of Scotland’s leading salon groups, Colin praised the people behind the business.
“When I look around the room, I see the people who make Medusa what it is. Every stylist, assistant, apprentice, manager and educator contributes something unique. Our success has never been about one person, it’s built on a shared commitment to creativity, excellence and supporting one another.”
Awards were presented across a wide range of categories, recognising everything from emerging talent and creative excellence to leadership, retail performance and long service. Teamwork was also celebrated, with awards highlighting those who have gone above and beyond to support colleagues and enhance the client experience.
“Awards are important because they allow us to pause and recognise the hard work that often happens quietly, day in and day out. They remind us of what we’re building together and what can be achieved when talented people share a common vision.”
As Medusa approaches its 30th anniversary, the annual awards served as a celebration of the people who continue to drive the business forward.
