The 100% magnesium-free amplifying micro powder is designed to provide instant grip, hold and volume, without leaving hair with the gritty feel often associated with traditional styling powders. According to the brand, the formula is colour safe and leaves hair feeling amplified while retaining a natural, free-moving finish.

Developed using a blend of silica in place of the usual magnesium, the product draws inspiration from Electric’s Sussex home, which is situated on chalk-rich soil.
Silica is a naturally occurring mineral found in materials including sandstone, clay and granite. Electric says it is ground to such a fine consistency that the powder is almost invisible to the eye as it leaves the bottle.
The result is designed to provide hold while allowing the hair to retain movement. The brand says the product is particularly suited to fine hair, adding thickness and texture without stiffness or leaving a visible white residue.
It is also described as a red-carpet favourite, where styles need to maintain their structure while still appearing touchable and natural.

The product can be used across different areas of the hair depending on the desired result:
For volume: Apply at the roots for instant grip, hold and lift.
For thickness: Apply to mid-lengths and ends to amplify the appearance of thickness.
For texture: Use wherever additional texture and definition are required.
For updos: Use in place of traditional backcombing to create grip and support.
To Apply: Simply shake the powder onto the desired area in a controlled motion, similar to adding salt and pepper.
